But why do beauty services costs more than services for a big night out with the girls? The question asked silently by most brides, ‘why is my wedding makeup more expensive?’ Allow me to explain…
Time and Products and Trials
Weddings are a huge day for any bride and bridal party, we strive to make sure everything is perfect and exactly the way the bride has envisioned. We like to spend more time with our bridal clients than we would with a client who comes to us for an everyday makeup application. Why? Because we only have one chance to make sure we get everything right for your moment of a lifetime to look back on for many years to come. You have already spent a lot on a photographer so we want to make sure you are happy with the way you and your bridal party looks on every photo you will look at for many years.
Consider a trial they are so important for many of our brides they take the stress and worry off your special day and give you a chance to try several looks till you find the right one. This is where you will meet your stylist in person and discuss requirements in detail to ensure your perfect look is locked down. Our team at MOSS takes the time to redo looks over and over no matter how long it takes until you are happy. Once your trial is over our work continues; writing up the products used and noting any special requirements, taking photos to send along to our bride so that she can take a look at every detail and hold onto for reflection on her big day. A file is then made and a timeline its put into place which keeps everything neat and organized to run smoothly for her big day.
Experience & Professionalism
As with any business, sometimes you pay extra for a special service. We constantly pour money into training to make sure that we are up to times with the newest trends. We take pride and care in our work and pick from the best product in the industry to use on our clients. Having an experienced stylist on your big day is very important. Just like any normal person, your stylist can crumble under the pressure, choosing your bridal stylist wisely is important, making sure they have experience in the bridal world is so important so they don’t crack under pressure and can delivery you optimal results.
Responsibility
We keep in touch with our bridal clients from the moment they book with us to ensure that they know we are here, we care and do everything we can to make your day perfect and to keep your mind at ease. Our phone line is open 24/7 and you are more then welcome to text us at anytime of day or night and we will reply ASAP.
Time & Travel
Our team offers travel to you if needed. This can mean us getting up at 4am to get to your location to ensure you and your party are ready in a timely manor. Sometimes this means holidays and weekends spent away from our family to help you create memories with yours. Working 5-6+ hours straight on top of a long drive to and from your venue with no time in between to grab a quick drink or to catch our breath. Wedding services are fullllllll on, they take time, precision and effort. Brides put so much effort into their big day so we make sure to do the same. And once we have completed we go back to our studio to restock our bags, reorganize, tidy up, clean and sanitize our brush and get ready and packed up for yet another big day to do it all again.
Insurance
It is always better to be safe than sorry! But no worries our team has you covered. We are serious about our craft, we have our stylist and our clients covered. No stylist should be offended if you ask for proof of insurance. Trust us, ask!! When choosing your beauty team its important to make sure your stylist is fully insured, it could save you a lot of upset. We have seen so many brides that have payed for services and get stood up on their special day by their beauty team. This is not acceptable. We are very professional and all of our stylists carry insurance as well as contracts to ensure your day goes as smoothly and stress free as possible.
It’s so important that our bridal services are carried out properly and that every single bride and bridal party is 100% happy, confident and absolutely gorgeous.
